Frank Vella
Frank Vella is a Los Angeles based Director, Writer, and Producer who enjoys telling bold stories grounded in truth. Drawn to the power of cinema from a young age, Frank immersed himself with as many worlds and characters as he could. That strong passion and resolve brought him to Columbia College Chicago, and eventually Los Angeles where he has worked with such brands as Nickelodeon, HBO, YouTube, KeyTV, and many more.
Since the launch of Frank & Friends Productions in 2015, Frank has pushed the brand forward with ferocious hard work and a commitment to creativity and quality. What began as backyard filmmaking with friends has evolved into directing award-winning short and feature films.
With new projects on the horizon, Frank is driven to keep creating work that captivates and connects with audiences around the world.
Thomas Petborisooth
Thomas Petborisooth is an Award Winning Director/Writer with 12+ years of experience in Production, Post, Web Series, Short-Form Story Telling, Podcasting, and Unscripted Television. Cutting his teeth on back to back film festival wins starting with Sacramento’s International Film Festival to AGBO’s No Sleep Till Film Fest, Thomas has made making cinematic stories in the span of a weekend easy and sustainable.
There is never a boring subject, only a boring perspective. Thomas has a profound desire to challenge the norm and make every project unique for the team he is working with and the story he is telling. From Commercials with Apple, to films with WB/DC, NERD ON! The Podcast and Actual Play Projects for Youtube and Spotify, Music Videos with Josh Groban, to Paramount Children’s Television, he adapts to varying levels of technology and scope of each project and finds the winning method to create entertainment for a modern audience.
Patrick Garney
Patrick Garney is an accomplished television executive and producer with 24+ years of experience spanning children’s series, multi-cam sitcoms, docuseries, reality, short-form development, and live action–animation collaboration. He created and co-produced Disney+’s number one docuseries, The Incredible Dr. Pol (24 seasons), merged social, scripted, and news teams to relaunch the Emmy Award-winning Nick News (4 seasons), and supervised many of Nickelodeon’s most memorable series.
Patrick has a deep, practical understanding of how 501(c)(3) organizations operate—their funding cycles, stakeholder communication needs, governance, and the storytelling challenges of mission-driven work. He has served on boards and committees for Home Again Los Angeles, Family Promise of the Verdugos, Nickelodeon’s NICE Community Engagement, and the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, giving him firsthand insight into nonprofit priorities, impact measurement, and community partnerships.
